Old World Studios is an art studio revolving around the creation of scultpures, the exploration of materials and the relationship between a scultpure and the space it inhabits.

As sculptures aren’t restrained by having to be produced with a specific material, they are the perfect vehicule to explore materials, their properties and limitations.

The core of my work is centered around the Imperfections that inevitably happen while exploring a new material. I realized over time that these imperfections are learning opportunities, they reveal how the material behaves under different conditions. Which usually yields new techniques and applications that I had not previously though of.
