Method: I pick a material i am interested in and research how its made and what its used for. Using that knowledge i make sculptures and go as far as my imagination takes me. I start with a simple experiment and use the results to guide my work and further explorations.

Current Material: Plywood; It’s used in furniture, packaging and in the construction industry due to it’s versatility, durability and relatively low cost. it's mostly sustainable As it is made from wood which is a renewable resource. It is a fascinating material with so many possibilities to explore.

What’s the point: Materials are not infinite ressources and they come with several costs; one of them being, destruction of ecosystems on a massive scale.

Through my art and my unconventional usage of materials I am trying to encourage a conversation around the responsible use of materials and the importance of designing materials to be easily recyclable.
